![]() I don't want to play a long range artillery piece rooted to the ground. I recently stopped using the Prowler because it just doesn't do what I want it to do. Overall the Magrider is a straight up upgrade. ![]() The mag gets to pick whatever he wants, including front armor plating for even more bonus defense. The Prowler is forced to turn sideways to strafe while firing, which almost forces the prowler to use side armor plating. 1v3 started to get dangerous and 1v4 is where we died.īeing able to keep the front armor pointed while engaged is a huge defensive bonus to the mag. In our play session we smoked anything 1v1 against TR. (don't play NC, so no clue on Vanguard capabilities, sorry) super smooth aiming gliding over bumpy terrain. only needs to fire main gun once to get maximum damage, not twice saron secondary - laser accurate on the first shot and next to no drop on the round strafe shooting allows the front armor (strongest) to point at the enemy at all times while engaged Maneuverability - can strafe while still shooting targets it's strongest secondary is a close weapon, while the tank is designed to root to the ground and engage from long distances outside the effective range of the Vulcan. ![]() difficult to climb over any steep inclines visibility sucks with two huge barrels sticking out from your screen difficult to hit targets on the move with both barrels over bumpy terrain Miss one shot or slow down shots between reloads and you're screwed double barrel - requires every shot to hit for maximum effectiveness and constant shooting so DPS doesn't slack off. ![]() We did a default Magrider with nothing on it, the default gun, and a trialed Saron. ![]() I jumped on my 30 VS alt I haven't played in almost 2 years with a friend last night.
